John Turner  

John is one of the country’s foremost experts on the design, performance and maintenance of industrial chimneys and cooling towers. He is an intellectual yet practical engineer with a flair for the intuitive understanding of the behaviour of complex structures.

John’s success lies in his ability to analyse problems by experience, intuitive engineering ability and the use of complex analytical tools. As a result of his extensive experience in complex and tall structures, his advice is sought on a variety of problems in this field.

From January 1999, John has been operating as an independent consultant, trading as John Turner (Engineering Consultants) Limited and has undertaken many contracts for large blue-chip industrial organisations. He is experienced in the use of international design codes for complex and wind sensitive structures and the use of complex analytical tools.
